Allison Andrews, President
Dr. Allison Andrews graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biological Engineering from UF (’06) and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel (’12). She is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology at Temple University and a former President and VP of Pride Student Union (UF).
Ricky Carter, Vice President
Ricky Carter ’12 currently works on GLAAD’s Development team in Los Angeles as the Events Marketing Manager. Ricky is a former President of Pride Student Union, Director of Pride Awareness Month, and SG LGBT Student Affairs Cabinet Director.
Wesley Scruggs, Treasurer
Wes is a ’09 alumni of the University of Florida Warrington School of Business. He is currently a Business Administration Specialist at Arizona State University. He is a former Treasurer for the Pride Student Union and Director of Finance & Marketing of Pride Awareness Month.
Billy Wildberger, Secretary
Billy is currently an instructional designer at UF and a graduate student in the Educational Technology program in the College of Education.
Phil Perry, Communications Director
Phil is a strategic communicator & PR professional in Washington D.C. He has a BS in Business Management from UF (’04). He is a former Treasurer of Pride Student Union and former Communications Director for the Florida GLBT Democratic Caucus.
Overall Regional Director, Thomas Jardon
Thomas serves as the Director of Housing and HIV/AIDS Services for Citrus Health Network, Inc., based in Miami, FL. Thomas has a BS in economics and J.D. from UF. He is also a current board member of the UF Hispanic Association.
NE Regional Director, Ashley Gunn
Ashley is currently the Assistant Director of Admissions/Social Media Coordinator for the University of Vermont’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions in Burlington, Vermont. She graduated in ’08 with a major in English and a minor in Organizational Leadership for Nonprofits and received her Masters of Higher Education at the University of Vermont in 2013.
DC Regional Directors, Javier Rodriguez and Jason Attermann
Javier Rodriguez is the Research and Prospect Management Coordinator at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. He graduated from UF with a degree in Advertising (CJC ’10) and a Master’s in Management (Hough ’11). As a student, Javier was involved with the Florida Cicerones, Preview Staff, Dance Marathon, Florida Blue Key and Lambda Chi Alpha.
Jason is a Legislative Aide in the office of Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-21). He graduated from UF in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science & Anthropology, and a Minor in Public Leadership. He also received a Master’s of International Affairs from George Washington University 2013.
